This website corresponds to the Exodus & Resilience — Venezuela Chapter program, developed under the institutional supervision of VAEA — Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts, a nonprofit organization registered in New York State and recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States.

Exodus & Resilience coordinates the conceptual, editorial, curatorial and documentary framework of the program, in collaboration with VAEA and other institutions, professionals, artists and partners.

2. Use of the website

The website is intended for informational, educational, curatorial, documentary, institutional and public participation purposes. Users agree to use the site lawfully, respectfully and in accordance with these terms.

Users may not:

  • Use the website for illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
  • Interfere with the security, availability or operation of the website.

4. Educational use and citation

Short excerpts may be cited for educational, academic, journalistic or research purposes, provided that clear attribution to VAEA / Exodus & Resilience is included and a link to the original source is provided when possible.

5. Artists and documentary materials

The program seeks to document and make visible contemporary artistic practices connected to migration, memory, diaspora and cultural rights. Inclusion of artists, artworks or materials on the website does not imply transfer of copyright, commercial representation or assignment of intellectual property.

Specific conditions for use, reproduction, archiving, exhibition or circulation of artistic materials may be governed by individual agreements.

6. Donations and support

Any donation, contribution or financial support to the program is managed under the institutional supervision of VAEA. Information regarding tax deductibility, use of funds, campaigns, goals and restrictions may be subject to applicable rules in the United States.

Donations do not grant rights over content, artworks, artists, curatorial decisions, programming or institutional governance.

We seek to provide clear, current and accurate information. However, the website may contain errors, changes, omissions or information subject to updates. We reserve the right to modify content, pages, resources, programs, dates, texts or links at any time.

Submission of information does not require VAEA / Exodus & Resilience to accept proposals, publish materials, establish collaborations, respond to requests or formalize agreements.
